Thuthukile Mbatha

Thuthukile Mbatha is a Regional Advocacy Officer at AIDS and Rights Alliance for Southern Africa (ARASA). She is a sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) activist with a particular interest in HIV prevention. She is a firm believer in the right to bodily autonomy and integrity especially for vulnerable and marginalized populations. Her passion for the advancement of SRHR is fueled by the potential gains including the achievement of gender equality. She has a demonstrated history of working in a public interest law firm as a researcher and activist fighting for these fundamental rights. She is a friend and an organizer for a global political movement called SheDecides, which advocates for her right to decide what she wants to do with her body, her life and her future without question.
